Very tight sites, $55 a night for 2 adults and 1 child. Reception unsure how big each site is, we watched multiple vans pull up to a site and go back to the office to try and find a longer site. Drive through sites are very narrow, once you have your awning out it is touching the van next door. Limited space to park your car by your van.
Very old and dark amenities, I had to take a camping lantern to the showers.
Pool is freezing cold.
Very tight roads for big rigs.
One of the ladies toilet blocks has 2 toilets out of order, 5 toilets total. About 50 vans sharing these amenities.
The older part of the park has no lights at night and no pathways through to the amenities, meaning people are constantly walking through others sites.
We will not be back.
Amenities not cleaned, toilet paper not refilled and bins not emptied at all during our stay. Except for office staff at check-in there was no other staff visible.
Nice park with nice new plots, nice and spacious.
Good location.
Friendly and helpful staff – Alastair was cool.
Camp amenities and kitchen good and clean – they just need a bin in the kitchen itself, and some cheap paper towels for drying hands would be nice.
Can only speak for plots, as I parked up and slept in the car, but my experience was good. Would stay here again.
Park was nice gardens need attention. Office staff not so friendly, if you work in a caravan park I think maybe have a little personality.we ask to put our cars in shade untill someone booked in and where told no.As we had to leave them in case someone come in for a shady.we where happy to move our cars if this happened . Would of attached a photo to show you how empty the park was and that while we where there no one even come near shady parks. Just a little help in our matter as we understand if the park was booked out it would of been a different situation.
I loved my 3 day stay in the Ringers quarters. As a solo traveller, I found the quarters to be sociable and affordable. Loved the cool pool after long days of sight seeing. Room was comfortable and clean, staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Thanks I'll definitely be back!
We had a powered ensuite site. This is a big park, very clean with good sized, level sites with cement pads on red crushed gravelly rock. Onsite restaurant (we didn't try it, but looked very nice). Good amount of bins. Clean general …
Great van park. Saw one of the reviews complain about lack of shade.. um did you see the landscape on the way into Longreach 😂 It is obvious when you are there the trees are still growing. There is a decent size pool to cool off in.
Also didn't find the spots small. Have stayed in much smaller. We were able to have our van on oneside of the slab and our car on the other which was awesome.
We stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights. We arrived late on a Sunday evening. Check-in was very easy. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.
Ladies at reception were lovely - checked us in, answered my questions and made a dinner reservation for us at the same time. Park was clean and well maintained. Amenities block was clean and everything worked. We loved our stay and it’s close proximity to the Qantas museum
